Lunch is served from 11.30am-3.00pm, Monday-Saturday and 12noon-6.00pm, Sunday

Lunchtime at the Café in the Crypt is a lively affair in an hisoric setting.  Our assisted counter service café offers a range of salads, bistro-style main courses and diet-defying desserts.  Plus there's always a hot or cold vegetarian option on offer.

Our main cold buffet will include such items as garlic and basil griddled chicken, homemade Scotch eggs and caramelised goats cheese and onion tarts. Our hot food offering includes 4 main courses 2 of which are vegetarian and all of which can be purchased as children's portions, 2 soups - 1 vegetarian - fresh vegetables and potatoes. At our 'Sense of Theatre' counter some menu items can be prepared to order eg. pastas, carved meats, steaks, and omelettes. We will also have hot filled sandwiches to eat in or take away.

Leave some room for pudding - there will be choice of 3 hot puddings, eg treacle sponge and bread and butter pudding, as well as a variety of cakes and pastries.
