London Brass Rubbing Centre

Get to grips with characters from history in a creative way at the London Brass Rubbing Centre. 

With a selection of replica brasses on offer - including Medieval knights in armour, fabulously costumed ladies, St George and the Dragon and William Shakespeare - there are many historical characters to inspire you.

The great news is that even if you have never tried brass rubbing before, our friendly staff will get you on track in just a few minutes. We provide all the specialist papers and metallic waxes that you need to create a superb artwork for a gift for someone special or as a unique memory of your visit to St Martin's. The brass rubbing team also know how to get rid of mistakes - so even the young ones can take home a picture to be proud of!

Prices for brass rubbing start at £4.50.

With extended opening hours for the Café, Shop and London Brass Rubbing Centre - until 10.00pm, Thursdays-Saturdays - it's possible to relax with a meal and a glass of wine, whilst your children are busy having fun and creating another artwork for the kitchen wall!
